Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPSS) are highly trained individuals with lived experience who can help you with your mental health and substance use recovery. They are people with personal lived experience that may be just like yours. Certified Peer Support Specialists:

HelpLine or Warmline
A helpline or warmline is a free, confidential, non-emergency phone line staffed by trained individuals, providing emotional support for mental health struggles, loneliness, or daily stress.
Unlike crisis lines, they are not intended for emergencies, but rather are preventative, providing a compassionate listening ear to prevent crises.
Resource Navigation
Resource navigation is when a professional helps individuals and families access the resources they need to thrive. This can include helping with housing, transportation, healthcare, education, and more.
Resource Navigators work with a wide range of community organizations and government agencies to identify and connect people with the services that can best meet their needs.

Youth - Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs provide treatment at a program site, but the person lives elsewhere (usually at home). Some programs require daily attendance; others meet only one to three times per week.
Intensive outpatient treatment programs require a person to attend 9 to 20 hours of treatment activities per week and usually last from about 2 months to 1 year. People who do best in an outpatient program are willing to attend counseling sessions regularly, have supportive friends or family members, have a place to live, and have some form of transportation to get to treatment sessions
