 Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline required, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience required.
  • Proven experience with fund development, donor development, grant writing and grant management.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and track multiple projects with specific deliverables and timelines.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills, along with an interest in working in partnership with staff, administration, Board of Directors, partner agencies, donors, grantors, volunteers, elected officials, and the community at large.
  • Carry out work with an approach that respects the dignity, agency, autonomy, experiences, and strengths of persons served.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products, and proficiency or willingness to learn office technology platforms including Dropbox, Little Green Light, and Basecamp.
  • Nonprofit financial experience preferred.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and cultural sensitivity.
Position Description:

The Executive and Resource Administrator is broadly responsible for PATH’s fund development, including donor and funder cultivation and stewardship; funder relationship management; annual fundraising plans; prospect and landscape research; close coordination with programmatic staff in crafting and submitting funding proposals for both private foundations and public agencies; and developing accurate and timely reports. The position is responsible for most Human Resources coordination, including benefits management. The position will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and other leadership team members. The position will also support some aspects of financial management and bookkeeping. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Executive Director, staff, and Board of Directors to develop and execute annual fundraising plans.
  • Manage most Human Resources functions, including new hire processes, onboarding of new hires, benefits administration, and other personnel support in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers such as retirement plans, disability insurance, and wellness reimbursement.
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Develop, review, and maintain contracts for grants and/or partnerships with other organizations.
  • Work closely with program staff to research and write new grants in keeping with mission and strategic plan, assuring implementation and evaluation fidelity, and completing reports by deadlines.
  • Maintain contact with, develop grant proposals for, and oversee financial support from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government funding sources, including administrative grant management and reports.
  • Maintain grants calendar with application and reporting deadlines.
  • Work closely with Executive Director and staff in the oversight of all major publications, including the agency newsletter, the Annual Report, and the agency website.
  • Work with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to update written policies and procedures for the organization as needed.
  • Support the Executive Director and Board of Directors with administrative logistics, such as communication, scheduling, and meeting minutes.
  • Provide occasional support for programming, including the Burnsville Fit Families 5K, Sizzlin’ Summer Series, Toe River Racqueteers summer camp, Cougar Fit Club, Appalachian Youth to Youth, and Summer Food Program.

Additional Information:

This position has the flexibility for some remote work, but regular in-person, site-based work is a requirement. This position requires occasional travel within the community, occasional evening and early morning meetings, and occasional weekend work. Must pass a criminal background check prior to start of position. Compensation:

Compensation range is $20-23 per hour – dependent on experience and skills. Part-time and full time applicants are welcome to apply.
